On To The Intel International Science & Engineering Fair

Two teams of competitors from Molokai qualified for the ISEF international competition and placed in the top five projects in the State competition this week. Congratulations to Sarah and Lily Jenkins for their "March of the Mangroves" and Alexandria Simon,  Momi Afelin and Keaaokahonua Davis with "Investigating Agar Extraction".  These two teams will travel to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania for the May 10-15 competition. Good luck in your preparations and make Molokai proud!

MHS LEO Club

Congratulations to our LEO Club for securing first place in the small club category for Best Club. This is based on the amount of service performed in the Molokai community. In addition, please also congratulate Giesha Nunez for being elected State LEO Club President (This is the first time a neighbor island LEO has held this position.) and Sabrina Curtis securing State Vice President. Way to go LEO Club.

Kupu is recruiting 17-20 year olds that might be interested in Kupu's Gateway Program this summer.  If you are within the 17-20 age group please apply for "Team Members" here.

There is also a "Team Leader" position available for those that are at least 21. If you are 21 or older, you can apply here.

  • $500 living stipend (new)

Faculty Meeting 2/6

The staff had a great faculty meeting this afternoon reviewing the Mid-Term Accreditation Report. SWAT teams worked to provide an additional lens to inform and refine the draft report.

Great job staff in using Google Docs to work efficiently and effectively.!!!

The Accreditation visit will take place March 5th.
