Longs Senior Scholarship Program

Interested Students for the 2015 Longs Senior Scholarship Program please come and see Aunty Kapua in the bandroom for an application. This is a $1000 non-recurring scholarship and the deadline to turn in all documents is Monday April 20, 2015 to Ms. Alanna.

HOLOMUA BYU-HAWAII COLLEGE PREP PROGRAM

a six-day college preparation program that helps students prepare to succeed at Brigham Young University-Hawaii. Inspired by the cultural importance of the voyaging canoe, Iosepa, students are introduced to the knowledge, skills and resources that will assist them in their educational journey at BYU-Hawaii.

Date: Monday, June 15- to Saturday, June 20, 2015

Location: BYU-Hawaii campus

Program fee: $185 includes meals, accommodation, materials and cultural and social activities.

Evacuation Drill

This is a friendly reminder that Molokai High School will be conducting an evacuation drill on the school's athletic field this Thursday 4/9/2015 between 9:00 - 10:00 am. The school has ask students to be present on campus from the start of the school day at 7:45 am. No students will be released during the evacuation drill until 11:00 am. Thank you for your cooperation.

On To The Intel International Science & Engineering Fair

Two teams of competitors from Molokai qualified for the ISEF international competition and placed in the top five projects in the State competition this week. Congratulations to Sarah and Lily Jenkins for their "March of the Mangroves" and Alexandria Simon,  Momi Afelin and Keaaokahonua Davis with "Investigating Agar Extraction".  These two teams will travel to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania for the May 10-15 competition. Good luck in your preparations and make Molokai proud!

MHS LEO Club

Congratulations to our LEO Club for securing first place in the small club category for Best Club. This is based on the amount of service performed in the Molokai community. In addition, please also congratulate Giesha Nunez for being elected State LEO Club President (This is the first time a neighbor island LEO has held this position.) and Sabrina Curtis securing State Vice President.
