MHS teams win Daniel K Inouye Innovation Award

On August 29th, three students were invited to attend the MEDB Ka Alahele Education Fund Dinner on Maui for the Daniel K Inouye Innovation Award. The award is presented to the student team that demonstrates the most innovative use of STEM to serve and improve the community. Alumni Sarah Jenkins and junior Lily Jenkins returned with 1st place for their project, each winning $2,000 for their education and $2000 grant for the Nene O Molokai Foundation. Alumni Momi Afelin, and seniors Kea’a Davis and Alexandria Simon won the second award, each bringing home $1,000. Both projects together won a total of $7,000 for technology upgrades to benefit Molokai High School. These two outstanding teams stood out amongst applications from all over Maui County. Congratulations to these teams!

MHS WILL BE ACCEPTING SWILL BIDS FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2015-2016-Deadline 7/15

MOLOKAI HIGH SCHOOL WILL BE ACCEPTING SWILL BIDS FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2015-2016

Molokai High School will be accepting swill bids for this school year (2015-2016).  The bidding period is from June 26th to July 15th 2015. Bidding application forms can be picked up at Molokai High School’s front office from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.   The bidding period will cover the entire school year from July 29th 2015 through May 26th 2015.  If you have any questions please call Molokai High School at 567-6950.

Molokai High School invites you to Parent-Teacher conferences on Wednesday, April 29th at 5:30pm. Interested Students for the 2015 Longs Senior Scholarship Program please come and see Aunty Kapua in the bandroom for an application. This is a $1000 non-recurring scholarship and the deadline to turn in all documents is Monday April 20, 2015 to Ms. Alanna.

HOLOMUA BYU-HAWAII COLLEGE PREP PROGRAM
a six-day college preparation program that helps students prepare to succeed at Brigham Young University-Hawaii. Inspired by the cultural importance of the voyaging canoe, Iosepa, students are introduced to the knowledge, skills and resources that will assist them in their educational journey at BYU-Hawaii.

Date: Monday, June 15- to Saturday, June 20, 2015

Location: BYU-Hawaii campus

Program fee: $185 includes meals, accommodation, materials and cultural and social activities.

Evacuation Drill


This is a friendly reminder that Molokai High School will be conducting an evacuation drill on the school's athletic field this Thursday 4/9/2015 between 9:00 - 10:00 am. The school has ask students to be present on campus from the start of the school day at 7:45 am. No students will be released during the evacuation drill until 11:00 am. Thank you for your cooperation.
